The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) has launched the Network Anubhav Platform, a geospatial and analytical dashboard that compiles user test data, TRAI independent drive test data, and a Do Not Disturb (DND) web interface. According to the Ministry of Communications, the platform aggregates test results from TRAI’s MySpeed and MyCall applications to deliver network parameter insights to consumers, telecom service providers, and the regulator.
The platform features geo-spatial maps that allow consumers to view cellular and fixed broadband test results categorized by service provider and technology, including download and upload speeds. Users can filter, navigate, and examine location-specific test observations, as well as view percentile values representing speeds recorded in specific areas. Additionally, the portal integrates DND services, enabling consumers to manage commercial communication preferences, submit unsolicited communication complaints, and track complaint statuses.
Telecom service providers can access a secure interface to view consumer-conducted internet tests, coverage, and call quality data along with location and timestamp details to identify areas for network improvement. TRAI stated that the platform aims to bring transparency to network tests and empower consumers to analyze location-specific service performance.
