Governance & Policy News

Primary sources first

Every news article on VoiceOfGP is based on an official primary source, such as a release from the Reserve Bank of India, the Securities and Exchange Board of India, or the Press Information Bureau. Each article names its source and links to the original document.

Accuracy

We report only what the source states. Before publication, every figure in a summary is automatically checked against the original release. Where a release is ambiguous, we say so rather than guess.

Original writing

Our articles are written in our own words. Short direct quotations are marked with quotation marks and attributed.

Use of automation

We use software to monitor official sources and to prepare first drafts. News summaries are drafted with AI tools and published automatically only if they pass checks against the official release: figures must match the source, the text must be in English, and there must be no investment advice. Anything that fails is held for an editor. Editors review published articles and fix errors under our Corrections policy. Explainers are always reviewed by an editor before they are published.

Independence and neutrality

We present official information neutrally. We do not recommend buying, selling or holding any security, and we do not publish price targets or market predictions.

Corrections

When we get something wrong, we fix it and say so. See our Corrections Policy.
