The Ministry of Tourism announced that the 14th edition of the International Tourism Mart for the North Eastern Region will take place from 29–31 October 2026 at Tawang, Arunachal Pradesh. According to the release, the three-day event will be held at Hotel Vivanta and aims to showcase the region’s tourism potential and build business partnerships.
The event will feature over 200 participants, including 43 international buyers from 22 countries, alongside domestic buyers, sellers, and tourism service providers from the eight North Eastern States. Activities will include Business-to-Business sessions on 30 October 2026, technical sessions, the North East Bazaar showcasing local handicrafts and textiles, and cultural performances.
Additionally, a Regional Meeting of Tourism Ministers of the North Eastern States will be chaired by the Union Minister for Tourism and Culture on the sidelines of the Mart. Technical visits are also planned to local attractions such as Tawang Monastery and Jaswant Garh War Memorial.
