The Department of Pension & Pensioners’ Welfare is conducting the 5th nationwide Digital Life Certificate (DLC) campaign across 2,000 cities and districts in India from November 1 to November 30, 2026. According to the release, this is the largest-ever DLC campaign undertaken by the department, following guidelines issued on August 13, 2026.
The month-long campaign adopts a collaborative approach involving 19 banks, India Post Payments Bank, pension welfare associations, UIDAI, MeitY, and various government ministries and state governments. The primary focus is on promoting face authentication technology on Android and iOS devices to enable seamless DLC generation for elderly pensioners. Doorstep services, health check-ups, Aadhaar updates, and grievance resolution services will also be provided during the camps.
