The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), alongside Sahodaya School Complexes of Delhi/NCR, is hosting the 4th National Summit on ‘Facilitating School-to-Work Transition’ in New Delhi. The two-day event takes place on October 26–27, 2026, according to a Press Information Bureau release.
Addressing the event, Department of School Education and Literacy Secretary Shri T. K. Anil Kumar outlined four main priorities: technology, digital safety and skills; design, creativity and innovation; recognition of skills via the National Credit Framework; and career guidance with equitable pathways. He emphasised linking school education with higher education, skilling, and employment.
According to the Ministry of Education, the summit brings together school leaders, educators, industry experts, and policymakers to integrate skill education with mainstream schooling. Educators from CBSE-affiliated schools are presenting case-based papers and posters on best practices, while interactive sessions explore pedagogical practices, digital integration, and assessment approaches.
