The Bihar government and the National Industrial Corridor Development Corporation (NICDC) have formally launched Bihar Integrated Manufacturing City Gaya Limited (BIMCGL) in Bodh Gaya. BIMCGL is an equal joint venture between the Bihar Industrial Area Development Authority and the National Industrial Corridor Development and Implementation Trust.
The entity serves as the special purpose vehicle responsible for developing the Integrated Manufacturing Cluster (IMC) across 1,670 acres in the Dobhi block of Gaya district under the Amritsar–Kolkata Industrial Corridor. Along with the launch, the state government unveiled the entity’s official website and an Integrated Land Allotment Portal to manage industrial plot allotments and investor facilitation.
During the event, which also marked the curtain raiser for Bihar Business Connect 2027, 12 Memoranda of Understanding were signed for approximately 300 acres. These represent proposed investments of around ₹4,200 crore across sectors such as food processing, automobile parts, and pharmaceuticals, with an estimated potential to generate 16,095 jobs.
