The Ministry of Labour & Employment, in partnership with the Government of Uttar Pradesh, is organising a two-day state-level capacity-building and awareness programme in Lucknow on October 26 and 27, 2026. According to the Press Information Bureau, the event forms part of the nationwide “Shram Samvad” campaign, which is a 90-day outreach initiative launched on September 28, 2026, to engage stakeholders across 316 districts.
The programme aims to help employers and stakeholders understand the provisions and compliance needs under the new Labour Codes. Day one will focus on labour reforms, international labour mobility, and social protection for unorganised, gig, and platform workers, alongside sessions by the ESIC and EPFO. Day two will cover statutory compliances under the four Labour Codes, central schemes like the Pradhan Mantri Viksit Bharat Rozgar Yojana, and strategies for child and bonded labour eradication. Open discussion sessions will also be held on both days to address operational and regulatory queries from participants.
